Supported Volunteering

Little Miracles is fortunate to have passionate supporters of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Each person contributes their own set of skills and perspectives to make Little Miracles what it is - a diverse and inclusive community, where everyone is welcome.

Volunteering should be available to everyone. It's a great way to build skills, confidence, make friends and make a real difference in people's lives. But people who require more support than others often may find it difficult to find volunteering opportunities that respects and caters for their needs.

We want everyone to feel empowered to volunteer, as everyone has something to give and can have positive experiences, with the right support. That's why Little Miracles is proud to be a member of Disability Confident; a Government scheme that promotes the value of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.  Little Miracles is a Level 2 organisation (Disability Confident Employer) which signifies that we're "going the extra mile to make sure disabled people get a fair chance" (Gov.uk)
