Admin Volunteer
Do you have 4-6 hours a week to support us at Little Miracles with our administrative tasks?
Purpose of the Role:
To assist with general administration functions of the Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the centre. The perfect role for someone wanting experience within the administrative support services field. You should be organised, detail orientated and enjoy working with a team to support a great cause!
Within our Head Office you will support the team in the main reception office in the following duties:
- Office Administration – perform general office tasks, such as photocopying, scanning and organising documents.
- Data Entry – Accurately input and maintain information in our Records Management System and spreadsheets.
- Communication – Answering telephone calls, responding to emails and assisting with correspondence as and when required, ensuring that all communication is handled as per the CIO’s policies and guidelines.
- Information Management – Helping to maintain and update the Records Management System ensuring confidentiality in line with legislation and the CIO’s policies.
- Supporting Reception – Greeting and welcoming visitors to the centre in line with our policies and procedures.
- Special Projects and Events – Supporting the team with administrative tasks for events that are being held or holiday activities such as the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) scheme events and activities that the CIO runs.
Skills and Attributes:

Recruitment Requirements:
- An informal interview with our Volunteer Manager.
- Two references
- One Professional Reference - previous employer or volunteer organisation you have worked/volunteered with.
- One Personal Reference - a friend or someone who has known you personally for 2+ years but is not related to you either by blood or marriage.
- An enhanced DBS Check to be completed by Little Miracles.
- Completion of 8 Mandatory Training Courses on our external training platform in line with our Safeguarding policy and procedures.
- Attendance on an induction session.
