When first appointed as Chair at Little Miracles, Iain first became involved with the charity through interviewing Michelle for a Business Awards entry, followed by participating in business coaching sessions via the Allia Grow Your Business programme. This initial engagement led to an invitation to join the Board of Trustees, and he is now honoured to take on the role of Chair of this amazing charity.
Iain is passionate about supporting local communities through both his businesses and voluntary roles. He has previously served as a Trustee of the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation and Sports Aid Eastern, and is proud to have played an integral role in establishing a successful youth development programme at his local cricket club. He also chaired the strategic partnership between local government, education, and business that led to the creation of the original Peterborough Skills Vision. Additionally, he spearheaded the planting of a new forest for the city—coordinating the first 5,000 trees of Crightons Wood, named to celebrate his parents’ retirement from the family business—which involved local primary school children growing trees from seeds.
Iain is now looking forward to working closely with Michelle, her team, and his fellow trustees to continue growing Little Miracles’ fantastic work across the East of England.
