Events Volunteer
Do you like chatting to people and supporting a great cause?
Then we need you as an Events Volunteer for Little Miracles!
Purpose of the role:
- To assist with the running of events and or attendance at events the Little Miracles Team attends, general set up and break down events outside the Little Miracles centres. This may include volunteering on a weekend and in different locations than the normal day-to-day venues that the branch operates at.
- You will attend a wide variety of events in support of the teams attending them such as parent/carer forums, sporting events, beer festivals, parachute jumps, boat races! You name it we’ve probably attended it.
You may be asked to support with any of the following duties:
- Talking to the general public about what Little Miracles does and how we support our member families.
- Helping collect donations from the general public.
- Setting up stall equipment at events such as tables and gazebos
Skills and Attributes
- Team Player.
- Happy to chat with the general public.
- A willingness to learn and interact with the public, ensuring people understand what our aims and mission are here at Little Miracles.

Recruitment Requirements
- An informal interview with our Volunteer Manager
- Two references
- One Professional Reference - Previous employer or volunteer organisation you have worked/volunteered with.
- One Personal Reference - A friend or someone who has known you personally for 2+ years but is not related to you either by blood or marriage.
- An enhanced DBS Check to be completed by Little Miracles.
- Completion of 8 Mandatory Training Courses on our external training platform in line with our Safeguarding policy and procedures.
- Attendance on an induction session.
