Food Banks

The cost of living crisis is affecting so many families across our country. Rising prices for food, energy, and everyday essentials are making life harder for everyone.

For families raising children with disabilities or life-limiting conditions, these pressures are often even greater. Caring for a child with additional needs can bring extra, unavoidable costs. From 2024 to 2025, disabled households needed on average, an additional £1,095 a month to have the same standard of living as non-disabled households (source; SCOPE).

At Little Miracles, we know how tough this can be. That’s why everything we do comes without judgment — and accessing our food bank is no different.

If you need support, you are always welcome.

“I honestly don’t know what we would have done without Little Miracles. I was really struggling, especially over Christmas, and the team just completely saved us. They made sure we had everything we needed — and then some.

Honestly, what meant the most was how kind everyone was. No judgement, no fuss, just people who really cared. We feel so lucky to have a charity like this looking out for families like ours when things are really tough.”
