Thanks to generous funding from Crown, we now have a full-time Family Support Worker on board—and it’s already making a big difference to families in our community of children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions.

In six-weeks' time, Nick Leaton, a Little Miracles Supporter will be embarking on a gruelling cycling challenge called Chase the Sun. This 205-mile cycling route starts in Minster-on-Sea, and covers a diverse cross-section of London, countryside and UK history until it finally ends at Weston-Super-Mare! If that wasn’t challenging enough, the full route needs to be completed in daylight and incorporates 3000m of elevation along the way! 

Time really does fly when you're making a difference! On Saturday 12th April, the Little Miracles St Neots Branch threw the ultimate birthday bash to celebrate 10 amazing years of supporting families in our community—and what a party it was!

Let’s rewind a little…

Back on 10th April 2015, we held our very first event at Eat n Bowl with over 50 wonderful people joining us. Since that day, we’ve grown into a thriving hub for local families, running all sorts of fun activities and offering support in every way we can. From trips to the Sealife Centre and chilled-out picnics to tie-dye crafts and legendary Christmas parties, it’s been a joyful, jam-packed decade.

And when times got tough during COVID, we didn’t skip a beat. We got creative with online sessions, delivered activity packs to doorsteps, and even organised Santa visits—right to families' front doors. 

The Big Birthday Party...
This year’s celebration was one to remember. DJ Alex (a proud member of one of our families!) kept the vibes high with music, while kids got stuck into all sorts of fun—think bouncy castles, messy play with shaving foam, LEGO towers, glitter tattoos, arts and crafts, and decorating the most delicious cupcakes and biscuits.

We also had a bit of magic—literally! JJ from Magic Touch had everyone in awe with his spellbinding tricks. And no birthday party is complete without food, right? We finished the day with tasty party snacks and a stunning rainbow cake from Jennie’s Cakes & Catering. Yum!

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any sweeter—every child went home with an Easter egg, generously donated by Tesco’s Community Champions, Hotel Chocolat, and Skanska. Thank you so much for your kindness and support!

On Wednesday 19th February we opened our newest branch in Downham Market!

Last week we were visited by the National Highways Agency and in particular the Asset Community East who presented a cheque for £2,000 following a donation made just before Christmas.
