Planners

Daily and weekly planners can be a helpful way for neurodiverse people and their families to bring a little more structure and predictability to everyday life. Changes and transitions can sometimes feel overwhelming, so having activities and plans clearly mapped out can help reduce uncertainty and make moving from one activity to the next feel easier.

Planners can also provide time to prepare for social events, appointments or unexpected changes, while helping to make time feel more manageable and reducing the impact of ‘time blindness’.

This resource offers simple planning tools to help bring a little more calm, clarity and confidence to everyday routines.

Using pictures is sometimes a useful visual stimulus and can make planning the week ahead fun and interactive.

Thank you to our volunteer, Ella, for creating these resources.
