Peterborough Branch or The Spinney (which is also our Head Quarters) was built by the Children in Need DIY SOS team in the summer of 2013.

The original building was inaccessible and unsafe, and Little Miracles had quickly outgrown its capacity.

With all of our branches we ask that you complete a Membership Form in order to access our services. Please complete the form and a member of the team will be in touch to talk about any further support we may be able to offer. We welcome any family with a child who has an additional need, disability or life-limiting condition, even before diagnosis.

The Spinney, located on Hartwell Way in Ravensthorpe (PE3 7LE), is a fully accessible centre set within acres of protected woodland, offering a safe and secure space for children and their families. It’s a place where families can come together, enjoy time together, and access the support they need in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Our centre includes an air-conditioned sensory room, designed to help children feel calm and comfortable, with soothing lights and engaging interactive toys for all to enjoy.

For children with complex needs, including severe hearing or sight impairments, our experienced team can provide sensory massage and storytelling in a quieter space away from the main room.

The Spinney also offers a safe and carefully managed environment for children with life-limiting conditions, where infection control can be maintained.

Families are also invited to connect and support one another through our private Facebook group.

Aside from the fun activities and 1:1 sessions that run throughout the year, The Spinney is also home to family support services, counselling and respite care in the Peterborough City area.
