Supporting Families Through Funding Partnerships

At Little Miracles, we know that no family should have to face the challenges of caring for a child with additional needs, disabilities or life-limiting conditions alone.

Every day, we support families across the East of England with practical advice, emotional support, activities, wellbeing services and opportunities to connect with others who truly understand their journey. None of this would be possible without the generosity of trusts, foundations, grant providers and community funding organisations.

Their support helps us keep many of our services free or heavily subsidised, ensuring families can access the help they need, regardless of their circumstances.

Why Funding Matters

Families often come to us at some of the most difficult times in their lives. They may be navigating a new diagnosis, struggling to access the right support, facing financial pressures, or feeling isolated and overwhelmed.

Many parents and carers tell us they spend countless hours advocating for their child, managing appointments, completing applications and trying to make sense of complex systems. Alongside this, they are balancing family life, work and caring responsibilities.

Little Miracles exists to make that journey easier. We provide trusted support, practical guidance and a welcoming community where families feel understood and supported.

As demand for our services continues to grow, funding partnerships are more important than ever. They allow us to respond to the changing needs of families while keeping support accessible and affordable.

How Funding Helps Families

Every funding partnership is different, but each one helps us make a positive difference in the lives of children, young people and their families.

Funding may support:

  • Family Support services
  • Counselling and wellbeing programmes
  • Activities for children and young people
  • Community events and family sessions
  • Information, guidance and signposting
  • Volunteer development and training
  • New projects responding to emerging community needs

Whatever the focus of the grant, the goal remains the same: helping families access the support they need to thrive.

The Difference Funding Makes

Behind every grant is a family looking for support, reassurance and connection.

Funding helps parents access trusted advice when they need it most. It helps children and young people take part in activities, build confidence and form friendships. It creates opportunities for families to connect with others who understand their experiences and reduces the isolation many families face.

For many families, the impact goes far beyond a single service or activity. It provides confidence, belonging and the knowledge that they do not have to face challenges alone.

Why Organisations Choose to Support Little Miracles

Little Miracles has been supporting families for over two decades, providing compassionate, practical and family-focused services shaped by lived experience.

We listen to the families we support and continually adapt our services to meet their needs. By working closely with local communities, schools, healthcare professionals and partner organisations, we are able to deliver support that is both meaningful and impactful.

Trusts and foundations choose to support Little Miracles because they can see the difference their funding makes to real families in local communities.

Looking Ahead

We welcome conversations with trusts, foundations and grant-making organisations that share our commitment to improving the lives of children, young people and families.

Whether funding supports an existing service, a new project or an emerging community need, every partnership helps us continue providing life-changing support where it is needed most.
