In October we were lucky enough to attend The Cinderella Ball, a wonderful celebration of all the hard work, fundraising and adventures that went into the Pistons to Places rally back in June. The rally saw more than 30 cars, each worth less than £1,000, set off from St Ives in Cambridgeshire on an incredible journey to Pisa in Italy and back again, all in support of Little Miracles. What an adventure, and what a fantastic way to bring people together for our charity!

We really couldn't talk about this incredible achievement without recognising Nick and Wendy Jones, whose hard work, enthusiasm and sheer determination have made it all possible. From organising the Pistons to Places rally to bringing everyone together for the Cinderella Ball, they have put so much time, energy and passion into making this happen and have created something truly special… we honestly couldn't have done it without them. We are so grateful for everything they have done and for the support they have shown Little Miracles.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of a cheque for £81,000. We are still a little lost for words! It is an absolutely phenomenal amount and will help us create something very special for the families we support.

The money will go towards creating a country retreat for Little Miracles families – a place where families can relax, enjoy some time together, take a break from the challenges of everyday life and make precious memories.

Even more special is that the retreat will be named Olivia's Retreat, in loving memory of Olivia, the daughter of Nick and Wendy Jones. It seems a beautiful way to honour and remember Olivia and create a lasting legacy in her name. a place that will bring happiness, comfort and special memories to so many families for years to come.

We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the rally, came along to the Ball, sponsored, donated, bought raffle tickets or helped in any way. So many people have played a part in making this happen, and we really cannot thank you enough.

We feel incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people supporting Little Miracles. Your generosity will make a lasting difference to families who deserve the chance to spend time together, make memories and simply enjoy being a family.

We cannot wait to see Olivia's Retreat become a reality, and hear about next years adventure.
