Last week, we attended one of the society’s events to receive the final fundraising total… and to say they were blown away would be an understatement. The members of CBGS have raised an amazing £22,000 to support local families.

Moments like this are always special, but what really stood out was the passion and generosity of the people behind the fundraising. A huge thank you must go to 2025 President Kari Sewell, whose dedication, energy and commitment throughout the year helped make this possible.

Every pound raised will go towards supporting families of children with disabilities and life-limiting conditions in and around Cambridge. For many of the families we support, life can feel incredibly isolating at times. Funds like this help us provide practical help, emotional support and a community where families know they are understood and never alone.

It has been a genuine honour to work alongside the Cambridge Business Golf Society over the past year. The kindness and generosity shown by the members will have a lasting impact on hundreds of families.
