Peterborough Community Comes Together to Support Little Miracles

Last week, the Peterborough Telegraph shared a heart-warming story about how Hereward Carpets in Mancetter Square, Peterborough, supported National Food Bank Week by hosting a food bank donation point. Customers, neighbours, and local businesses all joined in, bringing food and essential items to help families in need.
Following this, Hazel Andrews-Oxlade from the Creative Content Company, based in the city centre, hosted a free community networking event, where all donations collected were generously given to Little Miracles.
“I was absolutely blown away by the incredible support shown at the Creative Content Company networking event, hosted by Mark at Hereward Carpets. Recognising the importance of family and community, attendees were invited to support the Little Miracles Charity Food Bank — and the response was just amazing" - Annette Ablewhite, Fundraiser
Over the past two years, Little Miracles has seen a significant increase in families using our food bank. Many parents raising children with disabilities or life-limiting conditions are struggling financially — and with Christmas approaching and energy bills rising, we know more families will be turning
to us for help.
Raising a child with additional needs can be incredibly expensive, and that’s why our food bank exists — to provide practical, no-judgement support to families when they need it most. Any Little Miracles member can access our food bank without a referral, simply taking what they need to get through tough times.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Hereward Carpets, the Creative Content Company, and everyone in the Peterborough community who continues to support us. Little Miracles relies almost entirely on voluntary donations, and we simply couldn’t do what we do without our amazing supporters.
