Every Step Counts: Gemma & Sonny’s 150-Mile Challenge for Little Miracles

At Little Miracles, we’re constantly moved by the strength and determination of the families we support. This October, one of our families — Gemma and her 15-year-old son Sonny — are walking 150 miles in one month to raise funds for our charity.
Their goal is to raise £500, and every step they take is a powerful symbol of the journey they’ve been on — one filled with challenges, growth, and hope.
Gemma, diagnosed two and a half years ago with Autism and ADHD, and Sonny, who is home educated and also neurodivergent, rely heavily on our counselling services. These sessions provide a safe, understanding space where they can process, heal, and thrive. For them, Little Miracles isn’t just a charity — it’s a lifeline they access regularly through the week.
"I cannot put into words just how much they do at Little Miracles… to support myself, Sonny, our friends… but SO MANY families. Their support is just exemplary."
Their fundraiser isn’t just about raising money — it’s about giving back to a charity that has helped them through some of life’s toughest moments. It’s about ensuring other families can continue to access the same support, compassion, and community.
How You Can Help?
You can support Gemma and Sonny’s journey by donating through their Justgiving page.
Every donation will helps us continue to reach and support families of children with additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions.
We're all routing for you at Little Miracles and can't wait to hear how you get on. Keeeeeeep walking!
