Relaunch of the Little Miracles Ambassador Lunch
On the 27th April we relaunched our quarterly Ambassador's lunch at the Holiday Inn West in Peterborough.
The event was a great success, 30 supporters from a variety of businesses heard about how Michelle started Little Miracles, the impact that our support has on families and ways in which they can work together and help us succeed.
You do not have to be a member of our Ambassador scheme to attend the lunch, rather someone who would like to network with other like-minded people, find out more about how we help families of children with disabilities and come together to help us grow.
Shelley Nicholls from Delicious Ideas attended the lunch with her colleague Emma Smith and was overwhelmed to about some of the children we help:
"We had the pleasure of attending an Ambassador lunch yesterday, organised by the Little Miracles Charity, who as a business we have supported over the past 3 years.
Little Miracles support families with children who have additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions. The charity was founded by Michelle back in 2010 and over the years has grown to 15 branches across the East Anglia region, supporting thousands of families in need.
Our food donations from Delicious Ideas are very gratefully received and every item we give is used for families in weekly food parcels and through their Children’s Centre in Westwood. Nothing we give is wasted!
As with any charity, they rely on donations and support to be able to carry out the amazing work they do and help more families in need.
We shared some of this information on the What’s App group chat yesterday, but I wanted to share with you all again as would like us as a team to do anything we can to offer more support, be it with a monetary donation, taking part in one of their organised fundraising events or just offering some time to help them out, they are always super grateful for volunteers!
