Business and Administration Apprentice

Job Description: Oversee the day-to-day functions concerning the office in the charity. You will be working towards a level 3 in Business and Administration.

Pay: £3.30 to start with but your pay may increase depending on performance

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
• Working with the database
• Keeping appointments with clients
• Taking calls
• Working with security organisations
• Managing inventory
• Working with invoices and receipts
• Minimising office expenditure
• Managing holiday, sickness, attendance and absence records
• Negotiating with suppliers and service providers
• Sorting through e-mails from the main account

Typical activities:
• Updating the receipts and cheque books
• Inputting on the database
• Greeting people
• Managing the calendar
• Sorting and responding to e-mails on the main account
• Taking calls on directing to the right departments
